Bequia is such a special place for us. This little island in the Grenadines, just seven square miles, is tucked away in the Caribbean and has become a huge part of our lives. Known as "the island of clouds," Bequia has a rich, unique history—it was first home to the Arawak and Carib people and later became a gathering spot for sailors. It’s even one of the only places with a longstanding whaling tradition (all closely monitored) and is famous for its boat-building, a craft handed down over generations.

Our friends Cariona and Omorow introduced me to Bequia in 2021 and I couldn’t wait to bring Thomas here in 2022. Since then, we’ve spent so many memorable days here—sipping cocktails at Faye’s Rum Bar, sharing pizza at Mac’s, and snorkeling through coral reefs. The island’s landscape is breathtaking, with lush hills and sandy beaches leading to Windex blue waters.

Port Elizabeth, Bequia’s main town, has colorful shops, open-air markets, and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.

To us, Bequia is more than just a beautiful island; it’s tied into so many of our memories. It feels like the perfect place to celebrate our wedding, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
